Akesson's Chocolate (U.K.)
Bertil Akesson inherited his passion to cocoa and spices from the very childhood. His father – former Swedish diplomat in Paris – owned several sisal plantations in Madagascar where he finished his travel as a new born merchant.
Today Akesson owns several cocoa plantations in Brazil, Madagascar and South East Asia where he also grows spices which he successfully uses in his chocolate bars. He is also one of the supplier of high-quality cocoa beans for other bean-to-bar producers around the world.
